situated in Wharfedale, one of the Yorkshire Dales longest
and most beautiful valleys. The Yorkshire Dales National Park
is 3 miles to the North and the famous Ilkley Moor (bah' tat)

in neighbouring Ilkley to an 11 mile ramble around Beamsley
Beacon (about 6 hours walking time) A leaflet is available
from the owner with details of the various local walks although
it is advisable to obtain an ordnance survey map showing the
actual routes.
For
rock climbers there are over 20 worthwhile craggs around the
Addingham/Ilkley area including Ilkely's famous Cow and Calf
rock which offers many climbs to interest both the novice
and the experienced rock climber.
Other
places of interest are Bolton Abbey, Skipton (Skipton Castle
& Open Air Markets), Otley (Open Air Market), Harewood
