The Joiners Shop holiday cottage is situated in Wharfedale, one of the Yorkshire Dales longest and most beautiful valleys.

The Joiners Shop itself dates back to 1750 and is a detached Grade 11 listed former Joiners Shop - renovated in 2008 to an idyllic holiday cottage keeping many orignal features such as Yorkshire stone flagged flooring and exposed oak beams. The cottage has a 4 star rating and sleeps a maximum of 3 people. The electric, full oil central heating, duvets with linen and towels are included in the weekly cost.

On the ground floor there is a Dining/kitchen with stone flagged floor, electric Neff oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and a Utility room with washer, tumble dryer, low flush wc and belfast sink.

The bright, airey Lounge with glass door leading out to a private south facing patio and garden with beautiful views over Addingham Moorside is equipped with a flat screen tv, dvd player and ipod docking station.

The lovely open wooden staircase leads up to 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom and the house shower room (no bath) with vanity unit and low flush wc with chrome heated towel rail.

The Joiners Shop is non smokers only and no pets. There is private parking.

The area is renowned for it's superb walks, from a riverside stroll in neighbouring Ilkley to an 11 mile ramble around Beamsley Beacon (about 6 hours walking time) A leaflet is available from the owner with details of the various local walks although it is advisable to obtain an ordnance survey map showing the actual routes.

For rock climbers there are over 20 worthwhile craggs around the Addingham/Ilkley area including Ilkely's famous Cow and Calf rock which offers many climbs to interest both the novice and the experienced rock climber.

Other places of interest are Bolton Abbey, Skipton (Skipton Castle & Open Air Markets), Otley (Open Air Market), Harewood House and Bird Gardens, Haworth (home of the Brontè sisters) and the Vale of York.

Approximately 1 mile away you will find a good selection of shops and local pubs serving food.
